Meteorological Department forecasts another heatwave in Karachi

KARACHI: The Meteorological Department forecasts another heatwave in the city for the next four to five days.

According to Director Meteorological Department Sardar Sarfraz, the weather in the city may remain hot and humid in the next four to five days while the speed of sea winds is also likely to decrease during this period.

The director of the Meteorological Department said hot and dry winds could blow from the northeast, causing temperatures in the city to hover between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius.

He said that low air pressure in the Bay of Bengal today could lead to depression in the coming days.

Cyclones form in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal during October and November, according to the director of the Meteorological Department.
