Met department forecasts dust-storm for Karachi
Dust storm may occur in Karachi and adjoining districts of Sindh on 1st or 2nd May, the Met Office has predicted in a weather report.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department [PMD], the weather in Karachi will remain hot and humid today and the mercury is likely to hover between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius.
In this regard, the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert in which the public has been informed about dust storms.
According to the Meteorological Department, dust storms are expected in Karachi today and tomorrow while dust storms are also expected in Hyderabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mirpur Khas, Thatta and Badin.
