Merciless robbers shot dead woman over resistance in Karachi
A woman named Sana Tariq was shot dead by merciless robbers over resistance in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi, it emerged on Thursday night.
According to details, the deceased woman had come to the medical store with her brother to get the medicines when the incident happened.
The 30-year-old was killed by robbers after she refused to give valuables to the street criminals. The bullet hit the woman’s neck and she died on the spot. The body of the deceased has been shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for post-mortem.
The city police have failed to stem the rising tide of violent street crimes as the armed dacoits rob anyone they want and kill them over slightest resistance.
It should be noted that this is the second murder of Karachiite over robbery resistance in the first week of 2023.
Earlier on January 04, a mechanic named Shahid was killed by robbers in Karachi’s Korangi area.
SSP Korangi Sajid Amir Saduzai said that two robbers opened fire in an attempt to flee after dacoity in Bilal Colony, making it the year’s first killing over robbery resistance.
Shahid, mechanic by profession, was hit with a bullet, later he succumbed to his injuries and breathed his last.
SSP informed that the robbers were arrested by the police after ‘encounter’.
