She tweeted,
As soon as she tweeted her thoughts about how the world is on the brink of WWIII, Aamir Liaquat, former TV host, bashed her by tweeting,
“Taghma-e-Imtiaz ka ye mtlb nahi kay item girl imtiazi biyanat dain. Inhein Pakistan ki policy kay sath chalna chahye (Taghma-e-Imtiaz doesn’t mean an item girl can give biased statements. She should go with Pakistan’s policy)”
Mehwish, who always tries to ignore such hate remarks, could not stop her self this time and schooled Liaquat on the democratic right to have an opinion. She tweeted,
“This “item girl” is exercising her democratic right to have an opinion whereas you keep stooping to making personal jibes and nothing more. Man up! BTW whatever happened to the case you were filing against me for “Load Wedding”? I have been waiting with bated breath.”
