The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leader and Pakistan Muslim League-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday said that the mechanism for resignations from the houses would be reviewed on 4th February.
While heading to Islamabad from Jati Umrah, Maryam Nawaz spoke to the media and stated that PDM will stage a power show on 4th February to work on the methods of resignation as the Pakistan Muslim League (PMLN) and other political parties believed in resignations from the parliament.
The leaders of of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam- Fazl (JUI-F), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would also discuss long march towards Islamabad and would fix the date of the protest, as the January 31 deadline set by the PDM for the resignation of the premier had expired.
According to Maryam Nawaz, the criticism on Imran Khan and his party was not baseless, “If anyone violates the constitution we would definitely be speaking against them.
“The government would never be able to complete their five years after increasing inflation across the country,” she further added.
On the contrary, Prime Minister Imran Khan has set condition for resignation from the Prime Minister’s Office.
In a statement, PM Imran said that he was ready to offer his resignation, given that the opposition leaders returned the money looted from the national exchequer.
