Mayor Karachi starts fumigation drive to eradicate flies from the city

Wasim Akhter, the mayor will start fumigating the city to get rid of flies and mosquitoes.

Everyone is so annoyed after swarms of flies invaded the whole city. Recent rains and sacrificial animals’ remains have made the city’s situation worse. People are blaming government for not removing the garbage. Whereas, the federal government started “Let’s Clean Karachi” two weeks ago.

In order to remove flies from Karachi, Wasim Akhter announced to fumigate the city.

“Fumigation will start in Karachi to eradicate mosquitoes & flies. Karachiites are in trouble, it is our city and we should work together to make it better”, Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar.

On Friday, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah instructed local authorities to fumigate the city as soon as possible and arranged meeting on Friday meeting at 4pm regarding the garbage issue in the city.

CM Sindh has convened a meeting regarding Karachi's garbage issue tomorrow at 4 PM. Mayor KMC, Chairmen DMCs, Cantonment Boards & other authorities have all been invited. This is another initiative of Sindh Govt to resolve this issue. I hope the invitees will all work with GoS
