‘Mayor Karachi is now my boss, I will call him at 2 am to give him report’

KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal has accepted Mayor Karachi Waseem Ahktar’s challenge to serve as ‘Project Director Garbage’ and help clean the city.

Earlier, Mayor Akhtar issued a notification for appointing Kamal as “project director garbage” on voluntary basis with immediate effect.

“We will impose an emergency for the next 90 days,” Kamal told reporters in a fiery speech outside his residence in Karachi. “We will work day and night. I will sleep in my car.

Kamal asked Akhter to send notification of his employment to all the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) officials. He declared Mayor Karachi as his boss and said he will now report to him everyday for 90 days.

“Mayor Karachi is now my boss and I will call him at 2am to give him report,” said Kamal.

Wasim Akhtar has summoned Mustafa Kamal to his office on Tuesday for a briefing regarding the situation.

On the other hand, provincial minister and PPP leader Saeed Ghani has assured his cooperation for Musfata Kamal.
