Maulana Tariq Jameel denies reports of second marriage

The leading religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel has denied the news circulating on social media about his second marriage.
Maulana Tariq Jameel released a message from his verified account on the micro-blogging website Twitter.
He posted a picture of the false news of his second marriage and wrote “beware of misinformation.”
“Some channels are spreading fake news on social media about my second marriage which has nothing to do with reality.”
He further stated ” May Allah guide them.”

Earlier, Maulana Tariq Jameel’s clothing brand ‘MTJ’ was accused of selling draw strings in high price of Rs 550.
Taking it to social media, MTJ responded ‘we would like to clarify that the news is fake”.
“We do not manufacture drawstrings (nara) and our stores and websites has never placed any such article for sale,, please beware of spreading false news and help us report those who are involved in this malpractice” it further added.
On April 27, the Islamic scholar, Maulana Tariq Jameel inaugurated his clothing store in Karachi.
According to Maulana Tariq Jameel, the purpose of establishing this business is to fund madrassas.
Maulana Tariq Jameel is a religious writer, preacher, scholar and also a member of Tablighi Jamaat.
Maulana has established a foundation with the name of The Maulana Tariq Jamil Foundation which is a non-profit organization and located in Tulamba, Khanewal.
The foundation works for health, education and social work for the people of Pakistan.
In 2020, Maulana Tariq Jameel was awarded the Pride of Performance Award.
