LAHORE: Famous for his funny bone tickler jokes, Maulana Nasir Madni has been thrashed badly by unknown people over making a video on coronavirus.
During press conference at the Lahore Press Club, the cleric said he made a video few days ago on the pandemic novel coronavirus, following which, he received a Whatsapp call and he was asked to visit Kharian to attend a prayer event.
He said some people arrived at his place and kidnapped him. “They took me to Kharian, stripped my clothes off and made a video. They also took my YouTube ID and password on gun point,” he said.

Nasir Madni has requested Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief of Army Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar for provision of security to him and bringing the culprits to justice.
“Nobody can dare to speak the truth in this country. I have realized it after this incident. None will even dare to say the truth,” he said.
Nasir Madni said he had made a video on coronavirus asking the fake faith healers who claimed to treat by blowing through mouth over patients to do so to treat coronavirus as well if they were true in their claim. He said someone belonging to the group of fake faith healers had attacked him.
