“Maula Jatt” becomes first ever Pakistani film to get more than 400 overseas screens

Bilal Lashari’s “The Legend of Maula Jatt” has become Pakistani cinema’s grandest offering yet.
The film has become the first ever Pakistani film to get more than 400 overseas screens. The film was released on October 13 not only in Pakistan but in Gulf countries, North America, UK and Australia.
According to initial reports, the mega film Maula Jatt has broken all the records and collected 4.9 crores domestically and 4.4 internationally, making a total of 9.3 crores. It is also expected that the film will collect higher in the coming weekend.
It should be noted that The Legend of Maula Jatt has the highest budget of any movie produced in Pakistan to date, with a budget of between 45 and 55 Crore.
The outstanding action film, which was directed by Bilal Lashari, was also the first Pakistani film to be shown in Saudi Arabia and over 30 other countries; India was not one of these. The film analysts expected the film will break all the box office records and earn 50 crores in the opening week.
The star-studded cast of the film includes Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malik, Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi and others.
