Mathira strongly condemns Yawar Iqbal’s Halloween getup as “Bushra Bibi”
Internet sensation Mathira strongly criticised Budding actor Yawar Iqbal’s Halloween getup as Bushra Bibi, Imran Khan’s wife.
Taking to Instagram, the TV host wrote, “One should not make fun of the Hijab. we all should know the thin line between being funny or being a jerk! This is so not okay”.
Yesterday, Yawar Iqbal, a big name in the advertising industry dressed up as Bushra Bibi for a Halloween party. His look received flak on social media for disrespecting Islamic values.
Netizens didn’t find it cool and lashed out at Yawar for making fun of Bushra Bibi and Islamic values. A user wrote, “this shows how they were raised to hate people and make fun of Islamic beliefs”.
They also criticised celebrity stylist Khoji and makeup artist Mathira for helping Yawar create his look.
