Maryam Nawaz undergoes three-hour-long ‘throat surgery’ in Switzerland

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has undergone three-hour-long ‘successful throat surgery’ in Geneva, Switzerland, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said.
Taking to twitter, the minister said the PML-N senior vice president had extended gratitude to the people, especially the party workers who had prayed and conveyed good wishes to her.
During the three-hour-long surgery, two of her throat glands were operated by the doctors at the hospital, the family sources said.
Earlier on January 4, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz left for Geneva from London.
PML-N’s information secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb took to twitter and confirmed that Maryam Nawaz will return to Pakistan in the third week of January.
On the other hand, Nawaz is expected to visit his heart surgeon who is also based in Geneva, sources said. It’s the same surgeon who has often visited the Sharif in London at the Avenfield Apartments.
