Maryam Nawaz ‘mistakenly’ slapped by own security guard

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz was mistakenly hit by her own security guard before the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday.

A video is doing rounds on social media in which the PML-N leader can be seen standing with her husband captain (retd) Safdar and party entourage as one of the guards hits her with his hand while trying to push the crowd back.

Maryam Nawaz removes mask from her face and shrieks out of pain, while holding her shoulder. Safdar can also be seen pushing the out-of-control crowd back and solacing her.

Abundant of social media users think that the man slapped on her back deliberately, while the other lot of people believes that it happened inadvertently.

Safdar can be seen spinning in the opposite direction, as Maryam shrieks in pain, before turning back towards her.

After watching the video carefully, it appears that the PML-N leader was too close to the man who under pressure of his duty tried to immediately to repel the people when the unfortunate incident occurred.
