Maryam Nawaz determined to strengthen PML-N as per Nawaz Sharif’s vision
Following the appointment as PML-N’s senior vice-president, Maryam Nawaz said that she will work with party colleagues to strengthen PML-N according to the vision of party supremo Mina Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Taking to twitter, she wrote: “I am grateful to Quaid PML-N Nawaz Sharif and President PML-N Shehbaz Sharif for the confidence they have shown in me. I look forward to working with my party colleagues to organize and strengthen PMLN according to the vision of Mian Nawaz Sharif and under the able guidance of Mian Shehbaz Sharif Insha’Allah.”
In another tweet, Maryam said that she would visit and meet party office bearers across Pakistan to fulfill the daunting task.
“We will adopt modern techniques and make improvements where needed to ensure PML-N remains best equipped to continue successfully serving the people of Pakistan. Insha’Allah!” she added.
Earlier a day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appointed Maryam Nawaz as the senior vice president of the PML-N, authorising her to “reorganise” the party “at all functional levels”.
Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, who is also the party’s information secretary, shared the notification issued by PM Shehbaz, the party president.
