Maryam appeals to LHC seeking removal of her name from ECL again

Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has again moved the Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking removal of her name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
The new application was filed by her lawyers Muhammad Amjad Pervaiz and Azam Nazeer Tarar on Saturday. She has once again asked a one-time permission in her petition to travel abroad for six weeks from the date of departure, local media said.

Maryam was granted bail by the LHC after her father Nawaz Sharif’s health worsened. She was also asked to submit her passport to the court, while her name was placed on the ECL.
Maryam is being investigated in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case by the accountability bureau.
