Maria B launches “Khunsa Fund”, an initiative to uplift Khuwajasira community
Designer Maria B who is very vocal about her views on the transgender community recently launched an initiative to uplift the intersex community by securing their fundamental rights.
The designer recently justified her stance on opposing the transgender community and said the term “transgender” is misleading our society, there is a difference between transgenders and intersex people.
She also said that the transgender community has hijacked Transgenders Persons Act.

The official page of her non-profit organisation wrote, “First initiative of its kind to help the Khunsa (Intersex) persons secure their legal rights, health, education and employment as equal citizens of Pakistan”
