Man tortures three-year old child, pulls thumb’s nail

KARACHI: An appalling incident of man torturing and beating his own three-year old child was reported on Friday (today), in Karachi.
According to the sources, the incident occurred in Hijrat Colony of Karachi.
The incident was reported to Madadgar15 by the neighbours after hearing scream of a child.
As per the details, the father manhandled and tortured his own three-year old son and pulled his thumb’s nail.
After the incident was reported, police reached to the place, arrested the man and took him to police station.
The mother of the child has refused to register the case against her husband. However, further investigations are underway.
Earlier, the man accused of torturing an old bearded rickshaw driver, Kaleem Shah was sent to jail on judicial remand.
The old man is a resident of Punjab Colony area of Karachi. He was abducted by the suspect and taken to his home, where he was subjected to torture.
Before sending him on judicial remand, Kaleem Shah was handcuffed when produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate South. Before appearing, the accused kept embracing the same son who had slapped the elderly man.
The suspect has made a new claim saying that the rickshaw driver had forcibly boarded his son and was taking him somewhere.
The court has sought challan of the case from the police at the next hearing. Accused Kaleem Shah was remanded in custody for one day on Wednesday, September 15.
According to police, the video of the incident went viral on social media. The video showed the accused torturing the rickshaw driver. A case was registered by the rickshaw driver against the suspect.
Accused Kaleem Shah and his two sons are named in the case. The lawsuit includes provisions for kidnapping, torture and death threats by displaying weapons.
According to the text of the FIR, the victim rickshaw driver said that he was washing the rickshaw in the street, when Kaleem’s son came and made fun of him. “When I scolded him, he went home and complained to his father. His father, Kaleem, came and showed the weapon and took me home on a motorcycle.”
