Man proposes to woman at her father’s funeral
A South African pastor has proposed a woman during the last rituals of her father’s funeral. The pastor, who was presiding over the service, had asked for the woman’s hand in order to help heal her broken heart.
According to reports, the South African citizen asked for the hand of his grieving girlfriend on the occasion of her father’s last rites.
This strange scene was recorded by another person performing the last rites and later posted on TikTok, where the video immediately went viral and sparked debate among the netizens.
A video shared by a TikTok user during the last rites in the South African province of Limpopo shows a man sitting on his knees in front of a grieving woman, and he takes out a ring and proposed her.
The woman was surprised by the offer of marriage from her boyfriend who was the pastor and came to her father’s funeral to preside over the service, however, it was not known whether she accepted the offer or not.
