Man paraded naked, tortured for abusing police online

PESHAWAR: In gross violation of human rights and ethics, police paraded a man naked and tortured him for abusing the law enforcers on social media.

Fatigued by joblessness, some youth had reportedly shared a video in which they abused police force. In reaction, the station house officer of Peshawar’s Tahkal police station arrested one of the suspects, Amir, stripped him, tortured him and then made his video before posting it on social media.

Police, which are supposed to protect honour and grace of citizens, are busy robbing them of these rights. Police adopted illegal and unconstitutional manner in dealing with the citizens.
