On Tuesday in Sialkot a man accused of heading a gang of car thefts was arrested.

The police found more than Rs20 million in his possession. “We have also impounded 11 stolen cars that were in his possession,” a police officer said.

The gang robbed cars and then smuggled them to other parts of the country.

“The vehicles were also dismantled and auto parts sold in other cities,” the officer said.

A case has been reported and the police are looking for the remaining members of his gang.
