KARACHI: A man was electrocuted to death after coming into contact with a live wire while riding a bike on Karsaz Road as rain lashed the city for the second day on Wednesday.

The only electricity supplying entity of Karachi, K-Electric is to be blamed for the incident for its fragile wiring system. KE is accused of stealing copper wires of the megalopolis and replacing them with cheap silver wires. Plus, as per standard, the wires should not have current running in them after disconnecting from pole.
