Man arrested for uploading obscene photos of 11-year-old girl on Facebook
Muzaffargarh police have arrested a man for uploading obscene pictures of an 11-year-old girl on his Facebook account’s story.
Muzaffargarh police spokesperson Wasim Khan Gopang informed that the suspect is being interrogated, and efforts are being made to recover the mobile phone from which the obscene photos were uploaded.
The incident took place on November 29. The case was registered under sections 292 (Sale, etc., of obscene books, etc) and 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement) of the Pakistan Penal Code at the Mehmood Kot Police Station on the complaint of the child’s father, according to FIR.
The complainant stated in the FIR that her daughter did not reach home after the school, following which he went to find her daughter.
It was stated in the FIR that when he was searching for his daughter, his relative told that the suspect had uploaded obscene pictures of his daughter on Facebook.
A relative took a screenshot of the photo, which the victim girl’s father submitted to the police as evidence.
The FIR further stated that the background of the pictures was the house of the suspect, after which parents reached the house and recovered the girl.
The victim girl said that when she was coming from school, the suspect forced her to come in his house where the accused’s brother and he captured indecent pictures of her.
The report further stated that the main suspect fled with the mobile phone after taking the minor’s pictures while the other suspect threatened to upload them on Facebook if she resisted.
The complainant requested the police to immediately arrest and punish the accused.
