Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has gifted Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan a new car worth 3.2 million Pakistani rupees.
The car is made by Malaysian automobile maker Proton. The X70 was launched in December 2018 and its cheapest variant costs Rs 3.7 million.
The car was gifted at the Malaysian High Commission in a ceremony. High Commissioner Ikram Mohammad Ibrahim, PM’s Assistant on Commerce Abdul Razzak Dawood and other officials attended the ceremony.
On behalf of Imran Khan, PM’s assistant on Commerce Dawood received the gift. While talking about the relationship between Pakistan and Pakistan, Ibrahim said that the two countries had been brothers since 1947.
Imran Khan will be visiting Malaysian on a three-day visit from December 19 to 21 and will meet Mahathir in Kuala Lumpur.
A meeting of the Pak-Malaysia trade mission will be held in Islamabad soon, said the high commissioner. He said the trade volume between the two countries is valued at $ 1.1 billion, which will increase.
