Malala Yousafzai meets climate change activist Greta Thunberg

Pakistani activist and Nobel prize winner Malala Yousafzai and teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg met with each other at the University of Oxford on Tuesday.
The two female activists became world renowned individuals after raising their voice on important global issues such as climate change and women’s education.

Malala posted a picture with Thunberg on social media platforms, Instagram and Twitter captioned “She’s the only friend I’d skip school for.”
Thunberg also posted a photo of their meeting calling Malala her role model.
Malala is currently a student at Oxford University while Thunberg is also in the UK and expected to join a school strike in Bristol this Friday.
According to a media source, the girls met to speak about their activism at Lady Margaret Hall, the Oxford college Yousafzai is a student at. Thunberg also engaged in discussion with the students about climate change.
