Malala, Priyanka unfollow Hasan Minhaj after he made fun of ‘Pakistani activist’

Priyanka Chopra unfollowed Hasan Minhaj over her ‘petty’ joke about Malala Yousafzai.
Malala Yousafzai, the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, may have once enjoyed American writer and comedian Hasan Minhaj’s videos, but she no longer does, especially after Minhaj made a joke about Malala following him but the comedian not following her back on Instagram. Priyanka Chopra found this petty and also unfollowed Hasan on the photo-sharing platform.
After this online war, Hasan posted a video on his Instagram handle while sharing the details. He stated, “On October 4th, I made a joke about Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala. I said she follows me on Instagram and I don’t follow her back. Then on October 5th, she retaliated (asking who is this man?). Instead of doing a runoff, she unfollowed me on Instagram. I am sorry Malala, follow me back. I don’t know if I’ll follow you though. I am that petty”.
Soon after Malala shared the comedian’s video on her Instagram story and wrote, “Thanks to everyone who sent me this video because I no longer follow this man”.

The ‘Desi Girl’ of Bollywood and now the Hollywood star, Priyanka Chopra extended her support to Malala.
She shared a screenshot of Hasan Minhaj’s Instagram account that shows that she also doesn’t follow Minhaj. Priyanka wrote, “Same girl same Malala! Guess he prefers petty over funny”.

Hasan’s playful banter cost him more than just two well-known public figures from his social media pages; some of his admirers agreed with Priyanka that he was being petty about the situation. They said that all of this might just be him promoting a gig in the near future. This is an audition film for the Daily Show gig, according to one fan who commented, “Next Netflix special name Hasan Minhaj: Petty King. You guys, he’s coming back.
