Major terror bid averted in Balochistan before Independence Day
KOHLU: Levies Quick Response Force’s grand operation saved Balochistan from catastrophe on the occasion of Independence Day.
Huge cache of weapons including thousands of rounds, hundreds of mortar bombs, dozens of hand grenades and a machine gun have been recovered during the operation. Whereas, a cash reward of Rs one lakh has been announced for the personnel involved in the operation.
On Aug 3, according to the spokesperson of armed forces, two terrorists had been killed and an army officer and a young man were injured during a clearance operation by security forces in Zango Tai area of North Waziristan.
