KARACHI: Top badminton player of Pakistan Mahoor Shahzad along with her partner, Palwaha, won a bronze medal in the Uganda International Badminton Tournament 2020.
The badminton player posted a tweet sharing the news of her victory. She and her partner defeated Maldives in the quarterfinals in a score set of 21-14 and 21-19.
At just 23 years of age, Shahzad was the women’s single champion at the 2017 Pakistan International Tournament.
She has also participated in the 2014 Asian Games and 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Last year, she was winner of the Annapurna International Badminton Tournament.
