ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has said that her upcoming movies will surely improve the standard of film industry in the country.
In a statement, the actress said that her three new films, The Legend of Maula Jatt, Neelofer and Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad were in the releasing phase.
“The coronavirus has badly affected the showbiz industry, to overcome which, we have to release the movies on time,” she suggested.
Mahira further urged the people to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) to defeat the deadly virus.
In the mid of last month, the top Pakistani actress and model had won the award for best actress at this year’s Indus Valley International Film Festival.
Mahira was given the award for her performance in the film ‘Ho Mann Jahaan’, which also won an award at the festival.
The first Indus Valley International Film Festival was organized by the South Asian Forum for Art and Creative Heritage. It was the first digital film festival of its kind to feature film screenings, workshops, master classes and musical concerts.
