Madrassa students win robotic competition in HITEC university

Pakistani Madrassas have gained a bad reputation because of cases pertaining to ridiculous physical violation of minor students by Maulvis. However, one cannot generalize every institute to be puzzled with the same darkness.

Jamia Baitul Sallam’s students are the perfect example of sound, bright and learned individuals. The students of the madrassa have recently won in various competitions held in HITEC university, Taxila.

Not one the students won Urdu speech and Spelling Bee competition, but they also aced through the robotics competition, beating other 20 universities. Moreover, this show the talent and intelligence of not just regular students but the ones who are enrolled in madrassas.

There is a stereotype in Pakistan regarding the children receiving religious education from madrassas instead of going to normal schools. However, this group of bright madrassa’s students broke the stereotype and proved that talent and intelligence does not need a school.
