LUMS graduate killed during robbery attempt in Islamabad

Qasim Awan, a LUMS graduate and only child of his parents was gunned down in Islamabad F-9 park during a robbery attempt.
Qasim worked in Foodpanda and succumbed to his wounds on Wednesday, two days after he was shot and injured.
He decided to stay & work in Pakistan while the majority of his batch-mates had left the country for better employment or higher studies, according to friends.
He is survived by an ailing father, mother and two sisters.
In this regard, the police said that teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
According to the plaintiff, Qasim Awan was a resident of Lahore and had been working for a private company in Islamabad for the last one year.
Qasim Awan went to the park for a walk on June 5 at 8pm and at 8:5pm he was gunned down by armed robbers.
