SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Residents of South Waziristan’s town, Wana, have threatened to hold protest demonstration against the government over not launching Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme in their area.

The elected representatives and local administration of the area have adopted silence over the matter as deserving and poor people are worst affected due to lockdown imposed in a bid to control the spread of coronavirus.

Elders of the area have demanded right away disbursement of cash relief under Ehsaas Programme. They have threatened to launch a protest drive if cash was not distributed in the area.
