‘License of private hospital to be cancelled if it doesn’t administer free COVID vaccine’
KARACHI: The Sindh government has directed all the private and public hospitals to administer coronavirus vaccine free of cost.
“The vaccines will be provided by the provincial government and licenses of the private hospitals not administering the free vaccines will be cancelled,” the government announced in a notification.
“Ensure provision of services to the public for administration of free of cost COVID vaccination at private hospitals. Operational license of private hospitals will be cancelled in case of non-compliance with the order,” read the notification.
At least 140 more deaths and 4,298 new positive cases of Coronavirus infection have been reported in Pakistan during the last 24 hours.
According to the fresh statistics issued by the National Command and Operation Centre, 44,846 tests were conducted while positivity ratio remained 9.58 percent. The death toll due to Coronavirus has now reached 18,677.
