Liaquat Ali Khan was the ‘Man of Destiny’
Karachi: Director Quaid-i-Azam Academy organized an event on occasion of the 70th death anniversary of Shaheed-i-Millat Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan at Quaid-i-Azam Academy, Karachi.
The event was attended by a large number of students and renowned teachers including Prof. Abdul Hadi, Prof. Hafiz Naseemuddin and Prof. Dr. Aurangzeb Khan who graced the occasion as special guest.
The ceremony began with recitation of the Holy Quran.
In introductory speech, Director Quaid-i-Azam Academy, Zahid Hussain Abro, thanked the participants and guests for their participation in event. Further, he said that one of the main objectives of this academy is to hold events in memory of important personalities of Pakistan in which their lives would be highlighted, so that it would be a beacon for the nation.
On this occasion, Prof. Abdul Hadi highlighted the personality of Shaheed-i-Millat. He said that Liaquat Ali Khan was not only the Quaid-i-Millat and Freedom Fighter but also the ‘Man of Destiny’.
Prof. Hafiz Naseemuddin spoke on the life of Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan and paid a befitting tribute to him.
In his speech, Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Aurangzeb Khan said that Nawabzada gave up all the luxuries for the sake of Pakistan and set an example for the nation. The nation should learn from his life, true leaders are proved not by words but by deeds.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for the soul of Shaheed-i-Millat and prosperity of Pakistan.
