“Let’s hope wife beaters never given the chance to be heroes again”: Rabia Anum

Rabia Anum feels overwhelmed by all the love and appreciation she is receiving by walking out of a live show to show support to the victims of domestic abuse.
On Monday, host Rabia Anum walked out from a live morning show of Nida Yasir because of the presence of Mohsin Abbas Haider who was accused of domestic abuse by his ex-wife Fatima Sohail.
Rabia’s step was applauded by so many celebrities and netizens but on the other hand, some people also criticised her for humiliating Mohsin on a live show.
Rabia Anum feels overwhelmed by all the love and appreciation she is receiving by walking out of a live show to show support to the victims of domestic abuse.
Today, taking to Twitter, Rabia wrote, “Did my tiny bit to break the cycle of ifs and buts, let’s hope harassers and wife beaters are never given the chance to be heroes again, those who never apologized for what they did while the victims are still struggling mentally physically & Financially to get back on their feet”.
Rabia further wrote, “Men & women sending me their own stories of abusive childhood and marriages. I’ve been reading them and crying. The first thing I did after walking out was speaking to Fatima, we both cried on phone”.
She also called the news of Mohsin being declared innocent by the court “fake”.
