Last warning to Pakistan team, New Zealand tour might be called off
The New Zealand government has issued a final warning to the Pakistani team for violating the coronavirus SOPs.
The government has said that the entire team will be deported for violating another Corona SOP. Popular cricket website Kirk Info has claimed that the players of the Pakistani cricket team used to hang out with each other in hotels.
According to Cricinfo, the players did not wear masks. He also shared food in violation of SOPs. Sarfraz Ahmed, Rohail Naziz, Naseem Shah, Muhammad Abbas, Abid Ali, and Danish Aziz are also affected by Corona.
It may be recalled that the corona test of 6 members of the Pakistan cricket team who went on a tour of New Zealand has come positive. The New Zealand Cricket Board has temporarily suspended the national squad from practice.
Officials say the Corona Protocols must be implemented, the most important thing for us is the safety of the people.
Waseem Khan, the CEO of PCB, warned that if the SOPs were not followed, the New Zealand government could send them back.
