On Sunday, the last of six special flights operated from the US to Pakistan departed from O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.
The tickets cost approximately Rs250,000 per person and the price displeased many passengers. One man told a media source that the flight was originally to Karachi but it was canceled and one was scheduled to go to Islamabad instead.
People were traveling without taking coronavirus tests, and Chicago’s Consul-General said they don’t know about individual tests.
The plane, with 25 to 27 seats left vacant, had 280 passengers on board.
Of the six United States special flights, three were to Islamabad, two to Lahore, and one to Karachi.
