Lahore’s old fish market to be relocated soon

It was decided to relocate the 100-year-old fish market between Lahore and the suburbs.

The narrow streets in the Lohari Gate area made it difficult for shopkeepers to do business. There are more than 200 shops.

Vendors have justified the move, while residents of nearby areas are also happy.

Shopkeepers are satisfied with the decision to move the fish market out of town, but say the market has been announced every year for a decade but not implemented.

People living in the streets of Fish Market also expressed satisfaction over the government’s move. According to him, his life has been badly affected due to the stench and filth of the fish market.

A new and modern fish market will be created in the China scheme. The provincial government has promised to provide modern business facilities to traders in the new market
