The administration said that action will be taken against those responsible in the light of the committee’s investigation.
Earlier on Friday, the video of a girl being tortured by her class fellows at an elite private school in Lahore has gone viral on social media.
Lahore Police have registered a case against the suspects under sections 337A (i), 354, and 379 of the PPC.
Imran Younas, the victim’s father, claimed that her daughter’s schoolmate Jannat is a drug addict who wanted his daughter to join her company.
He added that when his daughter refused, Jannat along with her sister Umaima and others attacked her, dragged her to the canteen, humiliated and tortured her.
A day after, Lahore’s local court has granted pre-arrest bail to three girls involved in the brutal torture on fellow girl at private school.
The court has also barred the authorities from arresting the girls till January 30.
