Fast bowler Haris Rauf will be replaced by Salman Irshad, the right-arm fast-medium bowler after the former was ruled out due to injury to his right foot in the camp at Lahore Qalandars.
Haris is likely to miss his side’s next two to three matches of the HBL Pakistan Super League 2020.
The replacement was approved by the technical committee of the case, which includes Wasim Khan, Bazid Khan, Marina Iqbal, Sameer Khosa and Dr Sohail Saleem, CEO of PCB.
After Lahore Qalandars match against Islamabad United at the Gaddafi Stadium last Sunday, Haris experienced pain on the inside of his right heel.
Although his scans excluded any fractures, there is certainly a reaction to stress. He has therefore been advised to rest.
Salman, who comes in as a player in the silver grade, participated in the 2018 HBL Pakistan Super League edition and played three matches for Lahore Qalandars.
