In the second match of the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Lahore Qalandars have defeated Peshawar Zalmi by four wickets.
In the first innings Peshawar Zalmi scored 140 runs with the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Earlier, the Qalandars won the toss and elected to bowl first.
While chasing the target of 141 runs. the Qalandars made 143 runs while losing six wickets with nine balls remaining.
Sohail Akhter is leading the Lahore Qalandars while the Peshawar Zalmi are captained by Wahab Riaz.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi’s Captain Wahab Riaz and head coach Darren Sammy were ruled out for the match over the violation of COVID-19 protocols. They have now joined the squad.
Morever, another PSL6 match will be played between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans tonight at 7 pm (local time).
