LAHORE: On Friday, the Lahore High Court, lawyer filed a petition to put an end to the young doctors’ strike.

Human rights activist and Lawyer Muhammad Azhar Siddiqui, made the appeal and said that the strike against the disagreements between the Punjab government and young doctors were putting patients lives in danger.

Siddiqui further said that by going on these strikes, doctors are disrespcting and violating their Hippocratic Oath (an oath of ethics historically taken by doctors).

“Under no circumstances should doctors ever refuse to treat patients,” the lawyer added.
