 Lahore govt hospitals record 96% occupancy of ventilators

The Punjab government hospitals occupancy rate of ventilators have reached to 96 per cent.

Around eight hospitals of Punjab is facing difficulty in providing ventilators to covid-19 patients.

The bed occupancy situation in the intensive care and high dependency units of the public sector hospitals of Lahore is getting worse.

Moreover, 80 ventilators are currently in use by ill patients, out of 84 ventilators at Mayo Hospital.

Whereas, the Services Hospital’s all 32 ventilators are occupied.

All the ventilators designated for the critical COVID patients at Kot Khawaja Saeed and Mian Nawaz Sharif (Yakki Gate) are under use . 33 out of 40 ventilators at Jinnah Hospital are currently occupied, 28 out of 30 at General hospital and 16 ventilators out of 20 at Ganga Ram Hospital have also been occupied.
