Lahore business community announces reopening of markets on Friday
The Lahore business community called the smart lockdown a coup against the economy, and declared the reopening of closed markets on 3 July.
According to the group declaration, due to the smart shutdown, their company was being destroyed and the markets should be reopened immediately.
They said they would be reopening closed markets in downtown from July 3.
On the other hand, on Thursday, as the number of positive cases has risen to 217,809, Pakistan has reported 78 deaths in a single day from COVID-19 pandemic. The death toll across the country has risen to 4,473.
According to the latest National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) figures, in 24 hours, 4,339 persons were tested positive for COVID-19.
