Lady doctors beg from people to stay at homes
KARACHI: A group of senior lady doctors on Friday held a press conference in Karachi and begged from people to stay at homes and stay protected from coronavirus.
They said that we have to take preventive measures so that we do not reach such a point at which our capacity of dealing with patients at ICUs get exhausted. They said that there was no need to hurry and decisions should be taken with deliberation.
The lady doctors suggested that smart lockdown might not resolve the issue, rather we would have to go towards complete lockdown as the number of coronavirus cases in the country were rapidly rising.
They said that they were not concerned about their lives, but they were concerned about their loved ones’ lives as they were getting exposed to coronavirus because of them.
The lady doctors said that their families were pressurizing them to leave the job for now for they thought that their lives mattered the most. The doctors requested people to stay at homes and offer prayers at homes. They asked traders to suffer the losses during this Ramadan and protect lives. They suggested them to do online business.
“If doctors started to die then there will be no one to see patients. The nation should support us by maintaining social-distancing and staying at homes,” the lady doctors said.
They asked people to seek Allah (SWT)’s assistance by offering special prayers at homes.
