KSrelief starts providing humanitarian assistance in Punjab, KP
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has started providing humanitarian assistance to the deserving families in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Zakat al Fitr project.
Under this project, 19,032 rice bags weighing 440 tons will be distributed amongst the deserving families. The project will benefit 114,192 people in nine districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Lower Dir, Bajour and Dera Ismail Khan.
The rice bags will be distributed by teams under supervision of KSrelief on doorsteps of beneficiaries to avoid gathering due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The KSrelief has provided humanitarian aid to more than 59 countries over four continents.
