KPK’s 1965 Motor Vehicle Ordinance set to be revamped

Motor Vehicle Ordinance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is set to be changed and prepared according to the requirements of modern times.
As per the sources of the transport department, Federal Government has instructed that amendments in Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa’s Provincial Motor Vehicle Ordinance of 1965 are necessary
The ordinance is 56 years old and a complete revamp in the ordinance is needed.

Sources from the transport department reveal that the work has been started on legislation in which modern cars, traffic and everything will be taken into considerations.
However, it is expected that it will take some time to change the law.
