KPK wildlife dept arrests former Pakistan forest institute’s  DG

PESHAWAR: Wildlife Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrested former DG Pakistan Forest Institute Amjad Sheikh along with two associates for illegal hunting.

Among those arrested along with Sheikh Amjad are Zahir Shah and Zahir Ahmed.

According to the Wildlife Department, All three have been taken into custody from Murtazai Kohat. Those arrested have been involved in the illegal hunting of wild animals and birds.

Wildlife Officer Syed Omar and SDFO Shabbir arrested Amjad Sheikh and his friends.

Their hunting arms and ammunition have taken into custody.
