KP Narcotics force recovers 60 kg ice drug in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in a historic raid recovered 60 kilogram ice drug in Peshawar.
A vehicle laden with ice in its secret pockets was intercepted by the narcotics force, while it was travelling from Balochistan to Peshawar. The smuggler, Saifullah, who was carrying the narcotics, was also arrested and a case was filed against him.
Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Director General Fayyaz Ali Shah said the force had established its check point on Obhaya Bridge of Indus Highway in DI Khan.
The ice that has been confiscated is worth more than one billions rupees.
On the other hand, Peshawar police arrested eights suspects, including drug dealers and arms smugglers in a raid.
In a timely and effective operation, Peshawar police recovered two Kalashnikovs, seven pistols, more than 4,500 rounds of ammunition and about five kilograms of high quality hashish worth more than 0.7 million rupees. Three suspects were also arrested.
