KP govt sets prices of houses of Bollywood actors in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has set prices of houses of Bollywood actors Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor in Peshawar.
The price of Dilip Kumar’s house has been fixed at Rs8.56 million, while, according to sources in the Archaeological Department, the value of Raj Kapoor’s house has been set at Rs15 million.
The KP Archaeological Department has decided to convert the ancestral residences of Bollywood stars Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor into museums.
The land value of both the houses was fixed by the Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, while the cost of the structure of both the houses was fixed by C&W. The Archaeological Department forwarded the case to the Secretary of Culture for funding.
It may be recalled that in 2013, Dilip Kumar’s house was declared a national heritage site by the federal government.
