KP govt issues SoPs to reopen schools
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has issued standard operating procedures (SoPs) to reopen schools across the province.
According to the SoPs, a weekly schedule has been prepared for primary, middle, matric and intermediate classes. The government has suggested for holding classes in different times during the day between 7 am and 4 pm in three shifts. Clean water, anti-germ spray and sanitisers have been declared mandatory.
The ministry of education said that consultation was going on with the federal government about reopening of schools. It said that educational activities will resume in the first week of September, if situation got better.
